Awana Games
AwanaGames™ pits clubbers from local churches in competition in 10 events at the
local level. AwanaGames is open only to clubbers in T&T.
AwanaGames offers many benefits. Clubs develop a stronger identity and closer bonds amongst members.
Kids are also motivated to attend club and complete handbook and manual sections to qualify for
their team, learning God’s Word in the process. Area churches and leaders are able to connect
with each other in an atmosphere of fellowship. In addition, leaders are able to interact one on one with
clubbers’ parents.
Most importantly, the gospel is presented at each Awana Games competition, allowing unsaved family
members and friends in attendance a chance to hear, some for the first time, and respond to the plan
of salvation. Many unsaved people who are reluctant to visit a church service are often enthusiastic
about attending a sporting event, especially if their children are involved. Make the most of this
special opportunity to build relationships with clubbers and their families.
T&T Awana Games teams are made up of 10 to 12 boys or girls in 3rd through 6th grade. There are
separate teams for boys and girls. Each team can have a maximum of six 5th or 6th graders.
These boys and girls will compete in 10 events and awards will be given to the teams following
those 10 events.
