Awana Bible Quizzing Bible Quizzing is the Scripture memory counterpart to the physical, game-oriented AwanaGames™. Bible Quizzing is open to young people in T&T. This event motivates students to increase their Bible knowledge while giving participants, leaders, and even parents an intense exposure to Scripture. Bible Quizzing tests students’ knowledge of material in handbooks and provides individual and team recognition and awards. Bible Quizzing stimulates Scripture memorization, application of God's word, and review. It also motivates students to stay up-to-date in their handbooks. As students spend more time preparing for Bible Quizzing, their parents also become exposed to the truths of God’s Word. Bible Quizzing also promotes fellowship between Awana programs in the same church as well as other Awana-registered churches. In order to appeal to different types of clubbers, the Bible Quiz meet combines three different methods of quizzing. Multiple Choice Quizzing – This method employs the use of quizzing paddles for answering multiple-choice questions. It also encourages timid clubbers to participate and gives greater incentive for learning and preparing. Speed Quizzing – This method challenges young people to know material well, to recall it quickly, and to respond accurately in front of an audience. The questions are answered by the first person to buzz in. Written Quizzing – This method allows the clubbers to demonstrate their understanding of the material and the verses. The questions for the written portion of the quiz will be done at home before the quiz starts. Combining multiple-choice, written, and speed quizzing into one Bible Quiz meet provides an excellent means of properly recognizing all clubbers’ accomplishments. Locations
